They are both kind hearted, patient, faithful, and love each other so much!!! I loved taking their engagement pictures and getting to spend some time with them. Congratulations you two!

Matt, Kort, & Bry are good friends of ours from church. Bryson is 2 and SOOO cute!!! I love getting to spend time with the McGuire's because I'm usually laughing the entire time. Matt is the comedian of the family and Kort is the heart. Thank you Matt, Kort, & Bry for letting me take your pictures and for our friendship!! 

The Zinn Family

Meet the Zinn family. They are another one of our great families that attend FBC Piedmont. We met up at my favorite little farm and got some great pictures. I love how Audrey and her brother Evan never complained when I asked them to take a picture together. I love watching brother and sister relationships because it reminds me of my own relationship wth my brother. Landon & Christi

Meet my childhood friend Christi. When I say childhood I mean I met her at our brother's baseball game when I was a third grader and she was a second grader. Our first conversation was me asking her if she knew of a certain boy that I had a crush on, and of course she did (I'm not going to to say his name because his head may get to big and explode, but Christi you know who it is). I think I spent my entire childhood at Christi's house from the age of 8 to 13 and I wouldn't change a minute of it!! Her mom Gala will always be my second Mom and I just love all the Hager's!! So fast forward a few years and Miss Christi has found the Love of her Life in Landon and I couldn't be happier!! They are HUGE OU fans so we met up at OU and I just had to snap and watch them enjoy each other's company. It really was the easiest photo shoot! So guess what?? They have asked me to be their photographer at their wedding in March 2012!!! After making sure they hadn't lost their minds, I accepted and told them I would be honored. Yes it will be my First wedding and I will do everything in my power to give them 110%. Congratulations Christi and Landon!! I love you guys!!

Migraines, trying to undertand them.

If you are a family member, friend, client, church member, or a person that knows anything about me you probably know by now that I have Migraines. Yes, I capitalize Migraines because they have become to be of importance in my life. I've tried what I feel is about a zillion different things to make them "go away"...specialists, medications, foods, reflexology, read books, ect... If it wasn't for my husband I'm not sure where I would be. Migraines just kind of "happened" to me. If you have them maybe you understand what I mean. I can go back to a car accident where I feel they started, but I was also pregnant at the same time, so the doctors really can't pin point why or how....or when they will stop. For the last two years I sometimes feel as though I'm trapped inside my Migraine. How bad it becomes is a pathway of how my day, week will be. Most people do not understand this, and honestly if I didn't have them I probably wouldn't either. I've fallen in love with photography for many reasons...one of them is that it is very patient with my Migraines. I thank all my clients for their patience with me and all of them have been more than understanding!! Actually I've realized that some of them suffer from Migraines themselves. Craig's best quality is patience and he has been reading a book that I feel truly and FINALLY makes Migraines more understanding not just to the patient but to everyone. It is called, "The Migraine Brain"

I've started reading several Migraine books and just felt like they were talking down to me, but this book is different. Carolyn Bernstein, M.D.  (who suffers Migraines herself) is right along with you and actually says some of the exact same things I have said to Craig. It's Awesome to not feel so alone. I'm writing all of this in my blog because it's important for me that if any of my clients or friends or just any one out there that has some one in their family suffering from Migraines is reading this, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I totally recommend this book!!! And to my Mom, Mother-in-Love, and My Sweet Husband who has never judged me for having Migraines, and having to cancel plans at the last minute, and for taking care of the girls when I needed you to....Thank you!!! I love you so much!!!

Layne...My favorite third grader!!!

I finally got to take Layne's pics!! I don't think I got a bad shot of her. Not because of me, because she is just so beautful inside and out!!! I love this little girl and miss getting to pick her up from school! For those of you who don't know she is my old boss's daughter. I love you Layne!! and I love the Smith's!!
